TIS Farmaceutic is a pharmaceutical company founded in 1997, headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. The company profile consists of developing, manufacturing and marketing pharmaceutical products, food supplements and cosmetics. By means of modern production and quality control technologies Tis Farmaceutic acquired the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certification for two production flows (liquid and semisolid forms) since 2004.
The manufacturing and quality management conforms to the European legislation and regulations.
In the natural extracts manufacture processes we use our own cultures herbs (plantain, echinacea, calendula, carrot, sage, yarrow) which are pesticide free, for better control, efficacy and safety. The studies regarding pharmaceutical products, standardized in bioactive compounds, have demonstrated their lack of toxicity, their therapeutic action and the possibility to associate these medicines with synthetic drugs, without any interaction.
One of the main development directions is the range of products for respiratory diseases treatment. Our expectorant syrups, containing herbal extracts, are sold on the romanian pharmaceutical market since 2000, being, continously, developed and improved to meet the current regulations, regarding the efficacy and safety of herbal medicines.
Our portfolio includes also dermatology useful products. Topical medication PlantagotTIS®, 20% plantain extract gel, is successfully used, since 2005, to treat superficial thermal burns, abrasions, minor wounds of various etiologies (diabetic ulcers, varicose ulcers, pressure sores, leg ulcers) and skin graft during the healing process of affected tissue.
Propolis exploitation is considered as another development direction in our activity. At first, we acquired the National Medicines Agency authorization to use propolis as raw material in our pharmaceutical products; after that we subsequently used it to obtain several types of standardized extracts. Every extract batch is stadardized and rigorously controlled in our physico-chemical and microbiological laboratories.
